My Olympic Hero
Curling is a winter sport in which stones are slid onto ice to stop near targets.
The sport had not been so popular in Korea until this year.
However, the issue came as the Korean women’s curling team won a silver modal at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games. So I enjoyed curling with newfound interest.
Without hesitation, I can say my Olympic hero is the Korean women’s curling team. What is funny and surprising is that their origin story goes back to after-school activities. The team members started to meet just for after-school activities and they are still together as a team competing for their own country, Korea. It is also fun to have a team of sisters and friends.
